Brief description of how you
came to own this car and little history on it :
A
couple of years after our son, Kyle, purchased a Superbird, Bev became
interested in owning a Superbird. We answered an ad in the KC Star on Oct.
31, 1981, and drove down to the Missouri lake area to see the car. We
purchased it, and had it towed home.
When
researching it's history, we found that it had been raced in New York state in
the 70's. Much work was done to restore the car. After about 4+
years of getting the body restored, it was ready for the engine, which our son
had rebuilt. After Kyle got it running again, it was ready for
shows! We have driven it on the following tracks: Indy 500, Milwaukee and
Talladega.
